There are so  many gold scams out there.  There are many well known online gold/silver dealers; however, it’s a good idea to be diligent about no name dealers.  In the article, Gold fraud: $550m tax scam hits gold industry, 7/10/16, By Chris Vedelago, Cameron Houston, Michaela Whitbourn, in www.smh.com.au, gives an example of a gold scam:
